The Things Your Skincare Isn’t Telling You

Why Many People Are Switching to Natural Products

Every day most of us apply skincare, deodorant, sunscreen, makeup, and fragrance — often without thinking about what’s inside them.
Many conventional products contain chemicals that interact with hormones, may build up in the body, and are increasingly questioned by scientists and regulators. The result? More people are choosing natural alternatives.

Symptoms of low Magnesium?

  • Muscle cramps
  • Constipation
  • Arrhythmia
  • Weakness
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Numbness and tingling
  • Tremors
  • High blood pressure

How much Magnesium does your body need?

*Recommended Dietary Intake (RDI) is the average dietary intake level sufficient to meet nutrient requirements of 97-98% of healthy individuals in a particular life stage and biological gender.

** Dependant on age

Long term Magnesium Deficiency

Magnesium insufficiency appears to be common and may have significant implications for long-term health.

Longer-term complications of magnesium deficiency that commonly go unrecognised include the following:-

  • Altered glucose metabolism (Leading to Type 2 Diabetes)
  • Metabolic syndrome
  • Hypertension
  • Atherosclerosis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Asthma
  • Migraines
  • Pre-eclampsia
  • Cardiovascular disease (CVD)

Where do we get Magnesium?

Ideally Magnesium should be derived from your diet.  Magnesium is found in

  • Nuts,
  • Leafy Greens
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Avocado
  • Spinach
  • Legumes.

Realistically, most people won’t get their RDI of Magnesium through their diet.

For this reason we have developed a Magnesium lotion which will help you to top up your Magnesium levels.

The benefit of using a Lotion versus a Supplement is you avoid the GI tract.  Our Magnesium lotion is a super hydrating, silky lotion which is easy to apply.  It contains 600mg of Magnesium per 1ml of lotion – however you are unlikely to realise the full dose in each application.  It is very rare for a person to ‘overdose’ on Magnesium, however – if you do – you will know as you will end up with diarrhoea.

Benefits of using Transdermal Magnesium

Topical Magnesium can support better sleep, relief from stress, pain, tension, plus the long-term protective effects for heart health and more.

It’s a quick easy solution for sore muscles.  It can be used on children who battle with taking tablets and aren't getting their required Magnesium from their food.

Note

If you are under the care of a Doctor and on medication, always consult your Doctor prior to adding any form of supplements to your diet - even if they are topically applied.
